| This memo is a reminder for CME Members and Firms Executing NYMEX Trades on GLOBEX. Give-up Procedure When doing give-ups on GLOBEX for NYMEX products, be sure to enter the NYMEX Carrying Firm Number in the Foreign Firm Field on all NYMEX e-miNY orders. For instance, several firms that are members at both CME and NYMEX have different firm numbers at each exchange. Attached is a list of NYMEX Clearing Firm Numbers for your convenience. Missing NYMEX Give-up Firms/Incorrect Give-up Firm Please be aware that if a CME Member does not properly specify the correct NYMEX Give-up Firm or fails to enter a NYMEX Give-up firm on GLOBEX, the trade will clear at the CME Member's Primary NYMEX Clearing Firm. As a result, the NYMEX Clearing Firm will have to contact the CME Member to find out the firm to which the trade should have been given-up.
